Hello, I recently download the new version of ubuntu 18.04. The system don't respond to any I/O controls like keyboard or mouse. This situation happen in the live ssesion before install on usb, and when I choose install ubuntu directly from the grub menu. The usb works because a friend of mine install wiht the same usb the system on his Alienware.

I don't understand why can this happen.

Anyone can help me?

I had similar situation when upgrading, and gave up. I'm on a ThinkPad which are generally pretty compatible. I'm thinking of trying again with fresh install, once I have the enthusiasm back.

I'm having the same problem I tried 17.10 and 16.04 both of them work fine on my laptop. I have a HP Omen AX-250WM.
