When I just changed from 16. 04 Lts to 18.04 beta i found that brasero and k3b will not burn disc.I thought maybe it was a glich in beta. I waited for 18.04 LTS to be available & I upgraded. i tried burning disc again and it failed. I checked and found wodim and ubuntu extras are installed.When using K3B it shows using wodim 1.1.11,then starting sao then it states cd record has no permission and modify device settings. My setting show cdr dao,cdrecord cdr skin and others are checked. I then clicked on apply etc. In brasero it transcodes files then it ejects disc. Is this a hardware problem or is it software.Any help would be appreciated.
