I have a laptop with windows 10 on it and want to install Ubuntu alongside it with encryption enabled.
However the installation program doesn't allow me to select encryption unless I wipe the disk and do a fresh install.

What is the proper process to achieve this?

Edit: Being that ubuntu 18.04 is being released in a couple of days; does anyone know if it will have this feature? That would be convenient

I have not made a new 18.04 new install recently, but encryption was proposed by ubiquity for swap at least.
But there are plenty opened ubiquity reports, including encryption issues; so i hope some of them being fixed before release. :P
