I have a formatted usb (16GB) and want to download a Ubuntu .iso image to use as a bootable usb.

I find the suggestions confusing - I did this before when the disto came out but lost the notes!

Can anyone give me a suitable link?

Thanks Mike

Select the 32 or 64 bit desktop or server link as needed.

Do you want to make the bootable USB using Windows or Linux, (Ubuntu)?
If Windows see UNetbootin: https://unetbootin.github.io/ or YUMI: https://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/
For Linux see mkusb: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/mkusb
