Ubuntu slick greeter installation

Is it possible Install lightdm-slick-greeter on Ubuntu 16.04 & 18.04??
Not the One lightdm with Unity dependencies. The New lightdm slick greeter that now comes with LinuxMint 18.3

Ubuntu Budgie will be using lightdm-slick-greeter with 18.04 . The Ubuntu sessions will be using GDM3 and Unity will only be available as a manually installed session with 18.04 . Compatibility with other flavors is in question right now due 18.04 being in active development.

Actually found a slick-greeter_1.1.4-1_amd64.deb. Installed seems to work so far but still have the Old lightdm-gtk installed. more work for me to remove lightdm-gtk & unity to see if it works Cinnamon Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic
