Hi. Two weeks ago and up to day when I open my PC, in Ubuntu 16.04 icons aren't in the desktop. The only thing I see is a PDF file that was on desktop. When I open with the host user, icons are present, e.g. Firefox.
A first problem appeared before the icons problem, the computer ceased to shut down normally. The process is blocked and I need to shut down with a length pression on the on/off button of the computer.
How can I fix this new problem?
