"Ubuntu has been blocked by the current security policy" after installing Ubuntu

Hi all,
I installed Ubuntu onto my Lenovo Yoga laptop. I couldn't tell you what number Yoga it is, the sticker fell off.
It seemed to install well, but after the computer restarted the computer keeps saying "Ubuntu has been blocked by the current security policy" and it won't let me get into the operating system.
Can't seem to get into the BIOS either.
Please help..

That sounds like Secure Boot is enabled -- a BIOS setting.

What are you doing to try to get to your BIOS?

Thanks! I had tried a lot to get into the BIOS, but it turned out that I needed to turn my laptop off and then poke a pin in a hole in the side for a few seconds...
It worked though, Linux is up and running and working very well :-D
