Top 5 Ubuntu version names, power ranked:

Maverick Meerkat
Bionic Beaver
Natty Narwhal
Gutsy Gibbon
Trusty Tahr

We're just ranking the names themselves, not how good the release was.

Maverick Meerkat - doesn't sound very power ranked
Bionic Beaver - what's a beaver doing in a power ranking
Natty Narwhal - i forgot what that was
Gutsy Gibbon - bla
Trusty Tahr - double bla

What is name power ranking anyhow. Anything to do with the smell of things. Power ranking is used in sports, thats why i suspect a connection with smell. If thats the case then i can understand beavers being in it. Wet beaver goes off the power ranking chart.

Man, I can't be the only one who hangs on the names.

And for OSs that use names:
Ubuntu > Debian > "secret" Windows code names > Mac OS

Ubuntu's creativity beats Debian's theme. Those are out in front. Then Windows code names sound way cooler than Mac OS's names.
