Need Help Installing Ubuntu on my Samsung Laptop

Hi,

Im trying to install Ubuntu on my Samsung Series 5 laptop, however it won't start the iso file from my USB. I set the USB as main boot priority and disable fast & secure boot, however it still wont start the ISO. Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forums, jaffarcakes.

How did you create the ISO? You cannot just copy it over. You must "burn" it. This creates a real file system on your USB complete with boot files and folders for the OS. Instructions from Windows as follows: https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#0
