View Full Version : [ubuntu] Black unity launcher and icons

on Ubuntu 16.04 all icons and launcher are black. tried changing the theme/icons still same problem.

I did nothing new, it happened right after I booted up like I normally do. when I log in as a guest, I can see the colorful launcher and icons again..

Have you tried resetting unity and/or compiz?

Been having the same issue, not sure what the cause is. Happened when I enabled JPG and SVG loading in Compiz editor, I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

Please start your own thread , your system is not likely the same.
