GRUB help... lost GUI!

Hi,

I seem to have lost the kubuntu GUI...

Things were fine just yesterday, software updater highlighted some updates and i went ahead and installed them.
However, now i am stuck at "grub>" command prompt line..

Can anyone help provide steps to get back to the kbunutu GUI?
