I have seen others with similar problems here? DNS problem or otherwise? First. When I try nslookup mydomain.com I get ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached Second. When i ping 8.8.8.8 it works, When I ping 10.0.0.1 it works, When I ping.mot.com I get ping: unknown host www.mot.com (http://www.mot.com/) Third. When I try to access www.mydomain.com (http://www.mydomain.com/) from a windows 10 computer I get ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
However, when I type my Ubuntu IP 10.0.0.111 (static) I see my index file for mydomain.com. I also have two other domains on this Ubuntu machine. I cannot access them, through windows.
Also, (this may be related) I noticed when I try to run; sudo apt install traceroute I get;
Err:1 http://us.archiveubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/universe i386 traceroute i386 1:200021-1 Temporary failure resolving 'us.archive.ubuntu.com' E: Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/....21-1_i386.deb (http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/t/traceroute/traceroute_2.0.21-1_i386.deb)Temporary failure resolving 'us.archive.ubuntu.com' E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?
Of course I have Port Forwarding set in my cable modem for port 80 to 10.0.0.111
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please forgive my ignorance.

Michael
