Hello everyone,
I have not used ubuntu since the introduction of unity, but I am giving it another shot. I have just finished with a clean install of the latest LTS on my first gen i7 with 8GB of ram and an nVidia 900 series card. Everything just seems to take longer than I think it should. Loading the Ubuntu Software seems to take ages, and everything just seems to be not as snappy as it could/should be. Is this normal for the specs of my pc? I have been using Mint primarily when I do use linux, so that is what I am comparing it to.
