I have a copy of Ubuntu Zesty for a while back, that I have allowed to go without support but now I need to get a new software into it (which I was not planning on ever doing). So, I decided to upgrade to something newer.
I could always open up Synaptic and let it do the upgrade process for me, but there is one catch!
For a few days now (probably since Jan 13th), my WiFi connection has become totally unreliable and do not feel safe automatically downloading the new install process.
Additionally, I have a few software which installed their own repositories, and I don't want the manual install process to mess with those (and yes, it has done that before).
What can I do?
