I am trying to install Ubuntu 16.04.3 from a USB stick. I get to a screen with Try Ubuntu without installing, Install Ubuntu, OEM install ..... and select "Install Ubuntu. It thinks for a while and then shows some garbage vaguely resembling text. The garbage moves so there seems to be something going on.
The computer has an i7-7700 with MSI Z270-A Pro motherboard. Windows 7 is installed on one hard drive and I want to install Ubuntu on a separate hard drive.
