I am new to Ubuntu. Installing for the first time. I had to switch video cards because of its incompatibility with the nvidia 1080. Now I have an AMD Radion 7500 in it. It still boots to a black screen with a cursor. I have read many things about setting to nomodeset and check my settings in bios.
After I chose Install I receive the following:
error parsing pcc subspaces from pcct
/Init: line 7: can't open /dev/sr0: no medium found
Generating locals this might take a while
Generation complete.
failed to change the mode of
I added nomodeset and it looked like the install would take place without issues but :( it went right back to the black screen with a cursor.
Can anyone provide me with a solution?
Thanks
