Hi.

I can really use some help here. I searched but did not find anything like my problem.

I have an Asus laptop with a Core i5 and Nvidia 940mx card along with 8gigs of ram.
It is a dual boot with Ubuntu 17.10 and Windows 10

A couple of nights ago I upgraded from 17.04 to 17.10.

No real issues. The upgrade went smooth.
I have no problems at home with Ubuntu booting up at home. Works well, internet access and no bugs.

However when I am at work and I try to boot up. I get the Ubuntu boot screen. It starts to load and then just freezes. The hard drive stops and nothing happens.
I have to force the shut down with the power key. I have tried in recovery mode. Still nothing.

I am writing this from Windows 10. I would greatly appreciate any help that can be given.

Thank you
