trying to wipe off Windows 10 off this new Dell Inspiron 15 I just bought from dell and trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 instead of Windows what would I do in the Bios to do this I just hate Windows 10

Best to fully back up Windows. We find many users who have one application or game they just must have and it is only Windows.
And one user who bought laptops with HDD, would replace HDD with unused Windows with SSD. Then later sell system with "new" Windows.

Best to use UEFI.

I recently did exactly what you intend to do on a Dell Inspiron 1525. I used a clean formatted HDD and made a clean new install of Studio 17.10 on this device and 16.04 on another.
All I have to bitch about is that sometimes with the 17.10, my Dell freezes on boot when a USB mouse is connected.
the things just works ever since.
