My wife has bought herself a Dell Inspiration 15 5000 Series laptop. I have installed the latest xfce Ubuntu

My wife when using her Windows 10 OS is able to use the built in mouse just like on her mobile phone. I.e. pinch to zoom out, etc, but this does not work on the xUbuntu mouse. How can this be activated, please?
