I am a newbie to Ubuntu. But have been facing strange problem. I had an Intel i5, 4GB Ram, 32GB SSD based computer with Windows. I formatted it & installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Since then whenever I restart most of the times I see very low brightness and then after 1 minute whiten lines /stripes and screen goes black while back light is on. To troubleshoot I connected external VGA monitor and it works fine. Whenever I restart as long as external monitor is connected I cam still work on external monitor. But still sometimes computer screen works and most of the times I see same black screen and lines. Now I need to take this computer to office and I cannot disconnect the external because computer screen still shows same problem. Need urgent help. Xandr shows two connections always LVDS Primary and VGA.
Please help me.
