NMI watching Bug: Soft lockup CPU#1 stuck for 22s

Dear All,

I got the problem with my laptop MSI 73VR 7RF Raider. It made my hard time to install ubuntu 16.04. But now I have the problem with operating system look like this message :

"... NMI watchdog BUG: soft lockup - CPU#1 stuck for ...."

Could anybody have ideas how to fix it?

Please describe the error in more detail. Apart from the delay of course being irritating, does everything work as it should?

Thanks for your response my question. Fortunately, I found a problem with NVIDIA card's problem, namely Geforce 1070 that is probably not suitable for Ubuntu 16.10.

Nothing is suitable for 16.10. This release is out of support and should not be used.

I am not sure I understand your post. Did you solve the problem?
