My Ubuntu 16 Gnome install wouldn't boot. I fixed the problem by correcting Grub2 to point to the correct kernel.
But now I get an error
"Failed to start Virtualbox linux kernel module
See 'systemct1 status vboxdrv.service' for details"
This prevents Ubuntu 16 from booting.
This kernel booted successfully a few times.
Then I did update, upgrade, dist-upgrade, and now I get that error message.
