It appears there are a number of problems with lock screen functionality in 17.10. In my case I want lock screen disabled. On one of my PCs Settings>Privacy is set to on and the lock screen never appears on the other it can be set to off (or anything else) and the lock screen always activates. Some people report that add-ons like caffeine have solved their problems. Anyone have any other suggestions/in-sights into this issue?
