Optiplex760 17.04 ?/asking how to install grub. Installis completed

hi am a returning user

History on my crashed 17.04 new PC install was just auto delivered to Launchpad. I was given that notice a third time and gave up yesterday . Bare with me

Though I'm 78, treat me like a Newbie;on my ASUS Laptop I downloaded several grub packets after seeing the crash notice. I presume I must burnt a copy of one of those

Am unsure how to tell what may be done as I've crashed repeatedly on Vets Day and half hour ago. Installation is complete.

I see a note saying that I Must "restart the 760 PC to use the new installation." I just paid $55.00 for the refurbished Dell Optiplex760 PCwith I believe a 360 gig hard drive

I have retired my core2 duo, but it had an much older CPU. I built it in 2006.
But when I added an SSD in 2010-2011, it become so much better I ended up keeping it for another 3 years.

It really should just work.

How much RAM, what video card/chip?
