I upgraded ASUS UX32V from Ubuntu 17.04 to 17.10. Prior to upgrade, I used an external monitor connected via HDMI and 2 other monitors connected via USB and Dell Docking Station. Now with 17.10, the boot fails when the HDMI is connected. Without HDMI connected, boot succeeds, but monitors are not detected via the docking station. If I connect the HDMI after boot, the one monitor is detected.

What am I missing. How do boot with HDMI connected, and how do I recognize the monitors via the docking station
