I am looking for a large tutorial site like good-tutorials.com for the gimp and inkscape and such. Do any exist?

For other various but similar programs I know of the following sites. No idea about your specific wishes though.

I was looking for a more of an individual image tutorial site like good-tutorials. It would be nice to start one..... Dont think I could do it on my own though.

Sweet thanks! Yeah I was more interested in the inkscape side of it but ill definatly have a look. My offer still stands to make a site if I can get some community help though. Maybe I could get a forum opened on these forums so people could post their tutorials here if they dont have a site and it would be linked to it. Thats the way good-tutorials does it so bandwidth and space isnt a problem. I bet I could get the forum admin to agree if I donated some to pay for the extra bandwidth....

Use this: http://cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials.htm

If you're into photography. The tutorials are for Photoshop but you can use GIMP because gimp has all the needed tools. Pass this on to those that you know are into digital photography, very very informative.

your best chance is with small independant art forums that specialize in GIMP and other open source programs rather than the standard photoshop and illustrator.

Don't forget the tutorials (http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/) on Gimp.org (http://www.gimp.org). They have some very good ones, and the beginner, intermediate, and advanced classifications are handy.
