Hello, this is my first post, and also first time trying out ubuntu. I was thinking of hosting a small minecraft modded server on my old LGA775 machine, that has decent specs compared to what it can take max. Yesterday i download ubuntu server 16.04.3 and today im trying to install it, but im getting stuck at a purple screen after detecting my keyboard type, and searching for the CD-ROM. Im installing it using a USB drive thats 4Gb, and the image got burned to it using Rufus. Is this normal ?

The machines specs:

CPU: Inter Core2 Duo E4500 @ 2.2Ghz - Overclocked to 2.95Ghz
GPU: None - Tho the motherboard has inbuilt Intel GMA 950
RAM: 2Gb Kingston HyperX 2Gb - 2x1Gb
Mainboard: Asus P5GC-MX/1333
PSU: Some 500W unit that seems to be running fine.
HDD: SeaGate 160Gb drive
SSD: none
Case: Test bench.

As i said, im using and trying to install Ubuntu for the first time, so i might just be missing out something.
