I've installed Ubuntu Xenial Gnome Flashback (fully updated to this date). I'm experiencing an annoyance. When I mouse over on the application menu (top-left corner of the screen), it keeps on flickering. Please have a look at the attached link and suggest me a fix.

What hardware?

Intel H61 Motherboard, Sandybridge G620 Processor, 8GB Memory, Ralink WiFi Card. Nothing exotic, no discrete graphics card.

Seems nobody bothers this issue. Hey, if not fixes, suggest me some workaround, the top-left corner is really bugging me.

Well, finally I came back to Unity. And that flickering annoyance is no more there. I believe it's an issue related only to Flashback session. If ever anybody finds a fix please ping me, I'll again go back to flashback session.
