-QuickLaunch Launchers:
1a) Aptitude Update.sh command: "echo password | sudo -S aptitude update && sudo aptitude -y upgrade && sudo apt-get autoremove"
1b) "'Edit Launcher' > 'Application' > 'Advanced Options' > 'Run in terminal' is checked"
1c) Launcher icon is "'System Icons' > 'Applications' > 'system-software-update'"


2a) Scratch.txt command: "kate -b %U /home/cb/Documents/scratch.txt"
2b) Launcher icon is "'System Icons' > 'Applications' > 'basket'"



-KDE Menu Editor:
1a) Konsole command: "konsole"
1b) Icon selected in 'KDE Menu Editor' is set to & should appear in 'Task Manager' widget as "'System Icons' > 'Applications' > 'utilities-terminal'"
1c) Icon actually shown in 'Task Manager' widget is "'System Icons' > 'Applications' > 'system-software-update'"


2a) Kate command: "kate -b %U"
2b) Icon selected in 'KDE Menu Editor' is set to & should appear in 'Task Manager' widget as "'System Icons' > 'Applications' > 'kate'"
2c) Icon actually shown in 'Task Manager' widget is "'System Icons' > 'Applications' > 'basket'"

Yea, so launching Kate from its built-in menu icon produces an edited launcher's icon in the taskbar. And launching a Konsole from the built in launcher creates a Konsole entry in the taskbar but it has an edited launcher's icon there.
