Ubuntu 17.10 Files app

I want to switch between the Files app and a terminal window, quickly click down through some folders and then in a terminal window cd to that folder to do some work.

How can I copy to the clipboard the path to the folder that the Files app is open-on ?

The Ctrl + L key combination should give you a text path that you can copy.

Cool!

I guess I'll have to figure-out how to re-assign that to some other short-cut -- ctrl-L is too far to reach or let-go the mouse.

Just right click on the folder you want in the file manager and then choose "Open in terminal".

Quick, easy, and of course, you do not have to let go of the mouse.
