prime displays cannot be controlled by nvidia-settings

Hi all.

I'm trying to enable the Coolbits options for my nvidia card but I'm unable to do this as the Nvidia settings manager states the PRIME displays cannot be controlled by nvidia-settings manager.

Could somebody point me in the right direction please?
