It's really about time that someone builds a Gnutella2 client for Linux. Please? I'll bake you some cookies!

MLDonkey can handle Gnutella 2. The package in Ubuntu is out of date, but the latest version works (mldonkey.org I think)

That's true and I tried MLdonkey, but I'm really not a fan. Jack of all trades, master of none, y'know?

Two years has passed =) And here it is: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sharelin/ . This is only alpha so there will be many bugfixes and improvements.

Phex is still in active development and it supports G2 for Linux (though it requires Java).
