Hi everyone,
I have had already quite a few programming books in the meanwhile:
http://home.scarlet.be/spb30297/
Have only read just a few of them, and in the others have just peeked in.
But have read enough to stop keeping looking for new ones and start concentrating on the ones ive found most interesting atm.
So here are 2-3 books that i find quite interesting at the moment and want study a littlebit more thoroughly.
That is:
Python Programming: An Introduction to Computer Science, 3rd Ed. (https://www.amazon.com/Python-Programming-Introduction-Computer-Science/product-reviews/1590282752/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_show_all_btm?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=avp_only_reviews&sortBy=recent)
and i wonder how does this book actually compares to this following book:

Eloquent JavaScript, 2nd Ed.: A Modern Introduction to Programming 2nd Edition
(https://www.amazon.com/Eloquent-JavaScript-2nd-Ed-Introduction/product-reviews/1593275846/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_show_all_btm?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=avp_only_reviews&sortBy=recent)
and the third is the following. I almost want to leave it out of the first comparison. But still liked it the most so still gonna mention it:
Land of Lisp: Learn to Program in Lisp, One Game at a Time! (https://www.amazon.com/Land-Lisp-Learn-Program-Game/product-reviews/1593272812/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_show_all_btm?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=avp_only_reviews&sortBy=recent)

So what i wonder is, what do you guys think how do the Python and JB book compare to eachother. How they are similar and how are they different.
For example if you read about the Py book, you will see that the book is firstly not about Py but about CS. And the Py is just a byproduct.
And similarly is the JB book not so much about JB but more about Into to Prog. But then the question is, how different is programming to CS? And how much do they overlap? Which one to your impression of this books are more difficult/easier more theoretical/practical.
Leave your toughts in comments.
And have a nice day.
:)
