Hi

I have installed Ubuntu 16.04.3 on a NTFS USB stick and when I get to the install menu screen. Then Everything still works. When I choose Install and press enter. Then the screen stops getting input and the computer is stuck.
I have tried to burn a DVD with the same Ubuntu and the exact same problem happened.
This time when I booted the DVD its even a bit worse, the screen stopped getting input after I pressed enter on the keyboard = stick figure screen.

Why does it not work to install Ubuntu?

Properly because you choose NTFS format which are for Windows. You need to change it to eg. ext4.

So when I format the USB stick to NTFS it plays a role when I want to install Ubuntu?
Are there programs that can make a Ubuntu USB boot stick that is ext4 formatted?
