Problem with HDMI Sound

I just installed Xubuntu 16.04 LTS, I got everthing working except one thing when I connect my laptop (Acer Aspire One 1-431) to my TV using HDMI cable I get a picture but all the sound is still comming through my laptop. No sound through TV at all.

I am completely new at linux, never used it before. Any Help would be apreciated.

Do you know what video card is in there? Have you installed pavucontrol yet? (I think 16.04 comes with it installed, but not sure.)

ok I got the sound to work now kodi player wont play it did before I changed the audo output to hdmi
