Am reading (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VerifyIsoHowto) instructions for authenticating the ubuntu iso download. This first step is
1. Download SHA256SUMS ...
How? How do you download it? I ended up copy/pasting it into LibreOffice Writer, then saving it as a txt-file, then changing the name of the file to drop the .txt extension.
Then, after downloading should the file be edited to remove data for other platforms?
The authentication failed, and this is the first possible point that could have caused the failure, I guess.
