Very strange activity on Ubuntu lately is happening. Examples:

#1 I read text and just select text to easier follow where I am. After that I open slack and default channel which opens gets last selected text in send message field without paste pressed or middle mouse button pressed.
#2 I run grep for log file in terminal and already looking found result. When I get till bottom I found out that some part of grep-ed content is pasted in as commands (luckily grep-ed text does not contain commands or command keywords).

I really would appreciate help for this.

Maybe will help:
# Ubuntu 16.04
# Modified PS1 and PS2 set to "" (a.k.a - empty text string) - used this to try out fixing other issue: after modifying PS1 when I enter command long enough and then I want to choose (for example) 3rd from previous commands than some part of last command stays in beginning of prompt and messes look. But if I run command it runs correctly - without left trash chars.
