I am new to Linux and would like to dual boot an asus netbook with Windows 7 starter already installed. I have imaged the drives already. There are 4 partitions already there. Can anyone direct me to a good source to show me how to properly install Lubuntu as a dual boot OS. Windows 7 is too slow. I would like to use the netbook around the garage and pool to stream Internet music.
Thanks ahead!

Boot the Lubuntu installation DVD/flash drive and run this command from a terminal: sudo gparted
That should show information on your drives/partitions so post it here. If you have a standard windows 7 install it will be MBR which allows only 4 primary partitions. Posting that output should give enough info for someone to make a suggestion. Do you want to keep windows 7.
