aviderambo; Hello - Welcome to the forum.

Installing to a SSD - : No big deal at all.
In bios make sure AHCI us enabled .
then the tweaks :
https://sites.google.com/site/easylinuxtipsproject/ssd
http://www.ocsmag.com/2016/04/30/using-solid-state-drives-on-linux/

I also run a 850 EVOSamsung SSD, install preload after, works like a charm :
preload (source: preload): adaptive readahead daemon. In component universe, is optional. Version 0.6.4-2 (xenial), package size 34 kB, installed size 135 kB

my bit to try and help

Welcome. As above. If you use 'Something Else' during install you'll see it in there and just slice it up as you normally would. ;)
