View Full Version : I want to _Disable_ HiDpi on Ubuntu Gnome

I bought a 4k display, specifically because I wanted to fit more windows on my screen real estate. It looks like however, that Ubuntu Gnome starts correctly with 4k resolution on the first login screen, then after that, it looks like HiDpi mode takes over and scales the apps to ridiculous sizes. I've tried messing around with the tweak tool with little success.

How can I configure Ubuntu Gnome so simply render apps at 4k resolution without trying to compensate and apply some auto scaling factor???

Thanks
