Trying to convert a .wlmp file to something-anything else. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this in Linux?

Do you have access to moviemaker? If so, it appears you can export to wmv and then convert to something else with ffmpeg.

It is a Windows video file. I kinda already thought what Temujin sais: it can only be "finished" and saved on a Windows machine. It can be saved as a .wmv file and I have plenty of programs to swap that over to anything else. Thanks for the help!

Windows movie maker goes way back I'm surprised it's still around, I used Camtasia studio for all my formatting videos when I was using Windows
