I got this error on opening an install page of a software package..unfortunatly its rather old and its abandoned thats why i try my luck here on the forum.
The package has run fine on ubuntu 14.04 with php5 and mysql.
now that i upgraded to 16.04 with php7 i got the error :" This PHP environment doesn't have MySQL support built in."
When i look on my server and do a check to be 100% sure that i have everything set up i got following results.
php7.0-mysql:
Installed: 7.0.15-0ubuntu0.16.04.4
Candidate: 7.0.15-0ubuntu0.16.04.4
And i must say on the server other software like phpbb forum and phpmyadmin and other things just work.
So why i get this error is kinda strange.
anybody has a clue?
