This USB is using 17.04 downloaded from the ubuntu main download page. I have used it successfully to install ubuntu on my laptop but on my computer it black screens.

I can boot to the USB fine and I get all the normal options. However, when I select either install ubuntu or try ubuntu I am presented with a black screen (http://i.imgur.com/UJ2F9Ua.jpg?1).

Things iv tried:

I have tried disabling fast boot and secure boot with not looking.
I have tried 2 USB's Freecom and a Sandisk.

Graphic card is what?

You may need to use a boot option such as nomodeset to get to a usable GUI.
