Laptops for Ubuntu

I'm looking for laptop makes/models that have been confirmed not to have fan/overheating/i8kmon.service with exit-code errors. I've tried a few Toshiba Satellite's and Dell Inspirons with problems.

I know some manufacturers make ubuntu/linux specific laptops, but have less options.
