I just installed Ubuntu 17.04 with Gnome on this desktop.

I would like to display the full date and time up on the center top panel (menu bar) if it's possible.... like Tue Apr 25 2:00 PM.

I can't find a way to do it. Thanks for any help on this.

Also is it possible to move the day/time to the right or left up there on the top panel?

again?

GNOME Tweak Tool > Top bar
or for more customization the extension Datetime Format (https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1173/datetime-format/)
To move clock ---> Frippery Move Clock (https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/2/move-clock/)
