Budgie Icon Task

I am trying to figure out how to move from the budgie dock to the upper panel. I use budgie in 16.04lts and love it, but in 17.04 lets say you open firefox, the icon

appears on the left desktop rather than the upper panel. My guess its the same issue you are trying to solve.

I do not like the way budgie or cinnamon behave in 17.04... like wise gnome classic...its easier just to use gnome.. If you want to stay with 17.04.. Or down load solus.. I may try that. So to sum it up Unity runs all this stuff without a flaw, 17.04 makes them to goofy to consider..

Is the icon task-list enabled in the budgie panel ? Have look in the panel settings.
