I upgraded to Ubuntu 17 and now I am seeing various applications having their network access blocked. As examples:
I am running MS Outlook via Crossover and I can only pull email by connecting to a VPN provider, otherwise I can't connect to my email servers.
I am using ESET NOD32 Antivirus, and I now can no longer pull updates unless, again, I am connected to my VPN service.
I need to be able to have these applications connect to the network/internet without me being logged onto my VPN. This became an issue after I upgraded. Does any one have any ideas on what I could look at to resolve this problem?
