The title says it all. It's very easy to implement and it will look so much better in a browser! ;) May I suggest using the Ubuntu logo for it?

There already is one, but it is not in the HTML code of the pages. It is at /favicon.ico

Hmm, Firefox doesn't view it for me. Maybe it should be added in the head-code? That seems to be the standards-compliant behaviour.

There always used to be one, but it disappeared and came back again after the last forum upgrade. It seems that it is gone again.

You know, I noticed this problem when the upgrade occurred and forgot to mention it as I got busy with other stuff. The favicon was just the standard vBulletin one for a long time. Today, however, the Ubuntu logo is there and everything looks good.

I still have no favicon. Seems to be unsure of itself

I can see the favicon on http://ubuntuforums.org, but not if I type http://www.ubuntuforums.org. Maybe that's the issue for some people?

It works for me now. I guess maybe you should clear your cache?

Yes, clear your web cache. I just did it, and got the favicon.

In firefox, it is under Preferences --> Privacy --> Cache.

No, my browser is set to clear cache on closing, just to make sure, I cleared it manually, and still no icon.

/me is confused

Oh well :)

EDIT: ok, doesn't show up with ubuntuforums.org, but DOES show with www.ubuntuforums.org
