I have a desktop with coot software version 0.8.2 installed in it. Some prerequisites are required. Ex:ccp4. I just wanted to upgrade the software of coot version from 0.8.3 to 0.8.7. I downloaded the file from the below link.

Then i extracted the file and tried to run it. Its still running the older version 0.8.2. I dont know whether there are any settings that i have to do while upgradiing it, any libraries needs to change.
I would really appreciate any advice or information regarding upgrading the software or is there any link that i can get some information regarding this. Please let me know.
