Good day all
Trying to salvage a laptop for someone (it's old, with a dead HDD).

I have not, as yet, figured how to Netboot it (it's an HP nx7010), but have managed to get it to boot of USB (despite no BIOS option for such). So, what I'd like to do, is boot a live Ubuntu or Lubuntu session off a flashdrive.

The issue that I am currently having, is that it get a PAE error.

I have the ISO image for Lubuntu 16.10, and can boot into the startup menu, but the install errors there.

Is there a way to not require PAE, or a mini install ISO that I can run live?
All I need is to get to a point where I can run Virt Machine Manager to access a virtual machine on a server. This would work either via the live image, or a PXE boot (if I can ever figure out where to set that).

Any suggestions, help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
